An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
